Bad Start To This Morning!!!!!!!
Woke up this morning around 5:30, looked at the clock and no light on, power went out and it’s 3 degrees out side. Got up and got dressed went out to the garage to start the generator, you guessed it, generator wouldn’t start, it was too cold to start. Brought it into the workroom and took the propane torch and directed it towards the generator and put a sheet around generator to trap the heat. After 45 minutes she fired up and then rolled it back out to the garage and we’re back in business again until the power comes back on. I usually bring it in the workroom when it’s cold like this to keep it warm case of power outage,,,, but I didn’t. It’s a good generator, it’s a Campbell Hausfeild 7000 watt. I back feed it through a 220 outlet in the garage so I can run the whole house as normal.
Now if you will excuse me, I think I will go stare in the mirror and call myself a dumb asp 50 times for not bring the generator in the other day.

After his electric was off for several hours:
A guy I know went to town and bought a new gen, close to $1000. He was working on it in the cold and snow and got it connected and was about to start it and wife yells out the front door, "THE ELECTRIC CAME ON"
