  And then there is the volunteer staff.

  They have volunteered to protect the forum in best interest of the members and the business that provides the forums. The forums have been monitored by vol staff since the beginning, 24/7, 365.

  They have safe guarded GBs good name and reputation. They have been quick to take action against violated rules and policies.

  At times they have received hate, threats, and ridicule for doing so. But I'll be damned if they don't log back in and ask for more.

  I applaud and personally thank each vol. Staff member,both past and present.

  Kudos. I've screwed up a time or two but was always treated with courtesy and a full explanation of what I did wrong.

  It takes a special kind of person with a ton of patience to be a mod and I think they have been doing a pretty dang good job. Somewhere in my private messages are some messages from Mark about him suggesting I become a mod. That was one of the few times that I thought he made a mistake.😀 I explained that I didn't have the patience and suggested 3 other members that I thought would do a good job. 2 of the 3 are now mods and if they have any regrets I guess they can blame me! You guys dodged a bullet because they are doing a better job than I could have. I'm still waiting for my finders fee though.😁 Bob

  BobJudy, Mark made me same offer. I had to decline and he was very understanding. It was a very hard time in my life. I just don't think I could ever do as good or better job than the moderators we have now.

  I have purchased a ton of stuff on the Auction side over the years. If GB ever took the Forum/Community side away I would probably just fade away like a old soldier from the Auction side. Just would not be the same anymore. —————-Ray

  As my 'ol Pappy use to say, "Thank you to the mods for their dedication and patience for allowing me an hour or so of enjoyment conversing with my buds every night or so." The categories are both informative, educational and above all a nice way to spend an evening with friends who have a common interest.
