They had a successful launch and an awesome catch of the booster, but lost the upper stage ship near the endof its powered segment. It was a completely new version of that ship on its first test flight.

Several videos on the web showing multicolored debris coming down, reminiscent of the Feb 2003 shuttle reentry disaster debris coming down.

I remember the 1st. U.S shot into space I was in grade school and it was a really big event, during the 1st. moon landing I was in S.E Asia. Many now consider launches as thrilling as someone running down to the corner store….but I still get a thrill from them and try to keep up with them 😊

I read the FAA revoked their license for future flights until they figure out what happened.
