Sick for going on TEN DANG DAYS! So over this nonsense!
I swear, I have had to keep working because this is the busy time and we have a LOT here to deal with….but this makes day 10 of the crud. I even went to the doctor and they didn't give me anything at all to help…they actually told me to stop taking the little bit of crap I was taking that was helping me because my blood pressure was so high.
Its so aggrivating. The coughing, runny nose, no energy, no appetite, my hips hurt from all the laying around I've done. I'm so over it all.
I'm better today than yesterday…..and better yesterday than the day before….by this rate of speed this time next year I should feel amazing.

As they say there is a lot of flu going around this year. I keep a bottle of and sanitizer in the car and use it after I come out of any store, specially if it was a self check out lane, people with running nose then touching the screen on the check out, and then grabbing your change in the change dispenser.
Nothing worse than feeling tired and run down from a cold or flu. Hope you get to feeling better.3 -

So long as I don't move around, talk, wave my arms, or blink….it seems I have the coughing under control today.

I hope you feel better soon Kasey. I always know when something is going around when the liberals have masks on again in the grocery store. We have had a bit of something.... Eat well, wash your hands and go to bed early.

Vitamin D3, zinc, honey in hot tea to sip throughout the day, vapor rub on throat and behind the ears even during the day, a humidifier along with an oil diffuser that has Eucalyptus and Peppermint oils are some things I do when I get the creeping crud. Ymmv

Sorry you are sick, Kasey. I had the crud for several weeks. Get up in the morning and blow my nose over and over. Coughing and hacking until mid day. Then my nose would clear up and I would get a headache.
No appetite, I lost 5 pounds.
I had been taking zinc and vitamin C but it didn't seem to help.
I went to the doctor. He said I had a sinus infection and put me on Ampicilon.
Last Saturday I began to feel better. I hope it gets better for you quickly.

Since your Doc was no help and you reached out at this site for help and sympathy and possible medical advice.
I've never tried this but sounds like it would help a bad cough.
Take lots of laxatives.
They say will you then will try to swallow your cough. (if you do not swallow a cough can result in side effects)
It sucks when trying to work when sick and trying to rest sick when work needs to be done.

Hate to say it but you may be in for at least 10+ more days. Sounds like same crud here.
Doc said Virus, the ole * has to outlive it.

Wife and ijust getting over at least a two week spell of being sick
And yes, we were Tired of it. Also
Wife went to a urgent care it was a two week + wait to get into our regular doc she had a ear infection and sore throat that was just too much and trust me she is one tough gal
They told her they have been overwhelmed with the same symptoms from a lot of people

You all get well. Our formula here is to stay away from everyone. Went grocery shopping but had them bring the groceries out to the car. Just sit them down and get away from me .

my wife had a sinus infection, the urgent care doc gave her 10 amox. pills, they usually give 30 over 10 days, not anymore and she was on dayquil to stop the cough. had enough, ordered the jase case of 5 rx's and have ivermectin on the way. not finished so i will order more from allfamilypharma to get some rx cough syrup, hydroxy pills, maybe tamiflu, it's spendy. i will use it for emergencies only.

Brad, our photographer, went last week to his doctor and found he had the flu….temp of 101, cough, felt like total crap. He came out to find he had a flat tire and had to change it in 15 degree weather in the parking deck. I count myself lucky after hearing that horrible story.
I'm starting to come around….still a bit of a "crackle" in my chest, but feeling somewhat human now.
