Speaking of regrets.
I once had an U.S.& S. (union switch & signal) Colt 1911. My parents had bought it for me and mailed it to me when I was in Chu Lai in 1965. When we returned to the states, I sold it to a guy in our replacement battalion. I often wonder what happened to that really rare gun… But I hope it served its new owner well.

Yeah but whoda thunk some of that stuff would be the wild collector items they are today.

Twenty five years ago, I had a chance to buy 35 acres for $20K but it was 7 miles from home, had literally no fences, and a house that I had no need for—I passed it up.
Fast forward twenty five years.
There's new lake project in progress and that 35 acres sits at the highway intersection for the entrance to that project. Conservative estimate of that 35 acres is now @$250-300K. I feel like a dummy.

Just be glad it wasn’t a Singer 1911. I’m glad I have never made any mistakes in my life, ha ha.

JMHO
If you don't have any then you must have had a dull life
or to quote a song "bad mistakes I have made a few "

Taken some serious risks thru life that worked out. Missed some opportunities but brushed them off and went on and never looked back. All our friends we hang out with are successful folks. Negative vibes are bad karma.
