New tires for the pickup
I really needed new tires for my dodge ram. The ones on there were getting really bad. I wanted the Cooper avt3 tires because I go to our mountain house on the weekends. My son recommended to not get them, because the noise would drive me nuts. He suggested I get the Perrelli scorpions instead. I listened to him and love them. Extremely quiet and good for the very minor off road use that I will do. The warranty is about 10,000 miles less, but I can deal with that. These have a 60,000 mile warranty. We also have Perrelli's on our car. Nice tires and they handle great on a truck.

Partial to tge michelin LT series myself . Last set I got close to 80 k .

I notice no noise on my Coopers. I love them and the aggressive tread on them.

The tire guide at Tire Rack online is pushing me to the Cooper Discoverer Road/Trail if I want some off road capability and Cooper Endeavor Plus, with quiet comfort as my priority . . . . for my truck.
Talking All Season tires here. My priorities are quiet and ride quality, and do not really go off road.
My go to tire for years has been Michelin Defender LTX M/S2, and I am inclined to stay with what I know, regardless of price.
Also, I insist that I see that the tires are made in USA before they get installed. Michelin has plants all over the world so the next set could be made anywhere.
Side note : friend of mine bought what he thought were made in USA Coopers, he is washing his car about a month later and he sees "Made In china" on the side walls. Not happy.

Most Michelins are made here in the USA right here in SC.

Cannot go wrong with Michelin. Over the past 30 years have had Hankook , Cooper and General. All very good tires and each exceeded the mileage guarantee. Out of them the hankooks gave to best ride and drove the best . They came factory on my 2018 f-150 and yielded 60k miles

My oldest son may have made them. He's a tire builder at the Cooper Tire plant in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Best hope the place you got the tires honor the warranty. Unlike the place I got mine. Got 30K on 50K and told me to pound sand.

I ran Coopers on my 1/2 ton Chevy work vehicle. AT3(?) in the winter and a 'highway tread' that I don't remember the name of in summer. Traction was adequate but the AT3 tended to 'cup' on the front. Alignment shop said that was a common thing with those tires.

Amen. You got Michelin of Sandy Springs, near Clemson. Then there's Michelin of Greenville, right on I-85. Then there's a big plant in Spartanburg, on I-26. And a huge plant in Anderson. Driving the big rig, I hauled over 100 loads of Michelin tires from the Greenville area, 22 tons at a time. The tires went to the huge Michelin distribution center on the east side of Houston, and also to Laredo.
I would bet that every Michelin tire in North America is manufactured in the Greenville area.

I’ve got some Yokohama Geolander A/T M+S tires on my truck that carry the three peaks mountain snow symbol on them. They have a really good tread for snow and really aren’t that noisy on the highway. Price range is around $200 per tire. I liked them so much I put them on my car and the wife’s car as well.
