Years ago pulled up to red light and pretty girl looked out window of Escalade and gave me a big smile. Well, time moves on and things change.In 2020 i broke ranks with Chevy after 50yrs (long story) and went to a Ram Laramie Longhorn.
Many times have seen a pretty girl behind the steering wheel of a Hi-Country.Yep, you know the one I mean. I guess it is Ivory, Off White, whatever. Loaded up, $90,000+ like a magnet for a pretty girl.
So, gent walks into dealership with his pretty sweetheart at his side. He just wants a new work truck. Suddenly his sweetheart sees this Hi-Country and like a magnet she is drawn to it with her boyfriend/husband in tow. This was no accident. Dealer dropped this Hi-Country in the middle of the showroom for a reason. The bait is loaded and the trap is set. Quicker than a cat can blink his eye, papers are signed. Besides, who could possibly say no to such a pretty girl. Certainly not the salesman and the gent walks out the door with a happy girl and a $90,000+ work truck.
You know i am not a cowboy but there is just something special about watching a pretty girl step in a Hi-Country,settling down, adjusting her Stetson and going full throttle.
Been thinking seriously lately, should I go back to Silverado next time or would the new Ram Tungsten get the same results with a pretty girl.
One thing for sure. That pretty girl probably knows she is a pretty girl, a soccer mom and most importantly The Boss.——————Ray
