.30 Remington vs. .30 W.C.F.
Checking the prices on Remington model 14 and 141's compared to Winchester 94's and Marlin 336's I am amazed at how less desirable and cheaper the Remingtons are compared to the levers. I know, ammo for the Rems is almost unavailable, but the collector value is 1/2 or less for the Rems. The Rems are more accurate, more adaptable to a scope and have a stronger front locking action. BTW, I have some of each, just wanted to stir the pot.

But, but, but, Barney Fife kept a .25 Remington model 14 always ready for action locked safely in the trunk of his patrol car.

Used to have a customer that had
the Remingtons in all four calibers. 25,30.32. and 35.
I.think his widow sold them all.
