  I have looked long and hard for a 10" model. I want it to hold my 300# test hand-line rig.
  If u find a big one, email me..I think i will wind-up making one somehow.

  The tackle shop here in Cocoa has 9", i need a biggin. Thanks He Dog, i'm gonna approach my neighbor who has a lathe, and see if he won't let me try and turn one.

  here in the finger lakes region of new york state we used to pull copper for lakers on the bottom and found the old victrola record players worked great for retrieval,,,, set em up in a box and a reel and your all set., see them on ebay quite often and local rummage sales in our area they are found often for 5-10 bucks.
