loads for a cva .32 squirrel rifle

just wondering where to start with a good round ball load in my .32.
i inherited this rifle when my older brother passed away several years ago and don't remember how many grains of fff to use (safely)?!
any help would be appreciated

  I have a friend that has a 32 cal Hawken, he shoots 35gr of 3F, lots of fun to shoot.

  sounds like a good safe place to start.
  i might start a little shy of that and work my way up.
