Tomorrow morning if this dang rain and wind subside. Then its football again tomorrow night then maybe Sat. morning.

Well, at 7:15 this morning I had a big doe and 2 yearling buttons sneak up behind me. They really caught me off guard. 10 more feet and I would have no shot at all so I figured what the heck. I grabbed my BowTech, clipped on, turned while I was standing up. She took 3 more steps, I drew back, grunted to stop her and watched my Lumnock go right thru her and stick in the ground.
She took off with her tail at full staff, flagging away. She stopped after 20 yards, Headed back towards me into the CRP field, did the drunk dance, and fell over.[:D]
When I was getting my stuff gathered her 2 buttons came back and milled around my tree for 10 minutes. I finally had to shoo them off. [img][/img]

Where my stand is was flooded all spring and most of the summer. There is no vegetation at all. Pair with that the rain we've been getting and the ground is quiet. Heck even I walked in and didn't make a sound.[:D] 0 -
