Well, I got drawn for a California elk tag. It was to be my first big game animal with a bow.

Man, it has been difficult. It took a couple of years to get the bow shooting right. This year I missed a nice 3 pointer. He was moving and I shot over him. I got to the point that I thought I couldn't hit anything.
Before I shot the elk I ended up getting a coyote at 50 yards. That gave me a lot of confidence.

Sorry, but i was too busy going "let's remove the body and clean up". It was like I was in Pulp Fiction. It was a real dinker yote, probably this year pup. There was another that came in at the same time and I saw two more after that who were VERY nervous.
