Crushed walnut

I have been getting my walnut at gunshows in small 4 or 5 pound bags .Now found that my local pet shop sells it,for a heck of a lot less.Picked up a 50lb bag yesterday $14.95.Big savings.

  For cleaning brass,dont know anything about using it for dying.

  You can get the ground corn cob there too, for those that use that for cleaning their brass.
  Both will be in the section for pet bird supplies.

  I buy my ground walnuts cheaply also; just make sure that if you add a brass polish not to use anything with ammonia as it can weaken brass; Midway and Lyman sell great polishes to add to walnut media.
