hybred bows

ecc was talking about a bow he had in general discussion that was a cross between a recurve and a long bow. ive seen bows that were a cross between a recurve and a compound bow but never between a long bow and a recurve. whats one look like? whats the advantage to it?

  This man makes a hybrid longbow. it has recurved limbs until it strung then looks like a long bow in shape & ease of use. The man who makes these bows has been involved in archery for many many years. See the link for pictures of his hybrid bows & other products.
