Hey ya ever heard of a dog getting an intestinal virus? Gus had the runs for a few days and his balls swelled up to about twice their normal size. I took him to the vet and she said it seemed he may have a virus and gave him antibiotics. It seemed to have cleared it right up, but she said it was probably something he ate. Here is my problem... he is a lab and eats EVERYTHING!!!!

You talked like you're getting into the hunt and film industry if I wanted an ok rest for the camera and a decent camera how much would that run me? I have always wanted to shoot my hunts but my grandad isn't as excited as me anymore and my uncle hunts the rut, I'm out there as much as possible.

I actually was lucky enough to hunt with a guy that got a deal with Team Dagger Bowhunting videos so I film for him and he films me. Also hooking up with Warrior Outdoors who has been around for a while and have videos out already. Team Dagger is just getting started, it was a couple guys that left ADP that started TD.
I just bought me a used GL2 for right at $1600. Its just a starter cam for me but it takes broadcast quality footage. My next will be the XHA1. I got 4 lenses, all the filters, Mic, light, 2 batteries, MA-300 adapter and other stuff I don't recall right now. For a cam the size of the GL2 you need a good arm. I'm going with the Hunter Cam cradle Pro. That runs right around $500.
Yes, I'm getting into it but not to make a living just cause I love the outdoors and film so why not do both and enjoy it. I'm going to film school this fall hope to learn a lot.

I have used a Sony handy cam with the clamp on hunter cam cradle. that works also not as good of quality but it works. I personally don't like the ones that attach to the bow. think about after the shot, your gonna have to hold that bow up and try to follow that deer without a view finder and hope you get the footage.

send me your address. I'll send you 2 DVDs, a dvd I made from a little $900 hand held sony. There's no kill shots and I put music to it but you can get an idea on the quality. Then one from the GL2. These are nothing special, just some stuff I put together playing around with editing program.
