24 volt trolling motor
Is there a certain way that it is supposed to be hooked up? Got one gave to me and haven't a clue what i'm doing.

i think it depends on the boat type also. I have a Gambler and they use a cross over plug that changes it over where you plug your trolling motor in. 0 -
wiring the batteries in series will give you 24V, vs 12V in parallel.
Meaning if you hook to a single battery you will get 12V (right??)
If you hook the Pos of on battery #1 to the Neg of batter #2 then you put a volt meter to the free Pos of battery #1 and free Neg of battery #2, then you get 24V.
