24 volt trolling motor

    i think it depends on the boat type also. I have a Gambler and they use a cross over plug that changes it over where you plug your trolling motor in.

    wiring the batteries in series will give you 24V, vs 12V in parallel.

    Meaning if you hook to a single battery you will get 12V (right??)

    If you hook the Pos of on battery #1 to the Neg of batter #2 then you put a volt meter to the free Pos of battery #1 and free Neg of battery #2, then you get 24V.
