I.D. old fishing gizzmo?

Yard saleing today I bought a type of plastic bobber with some extras attached like I have never seen before. It is new in the box with instructions on how to use, but no manufacturer address. It is called a "tumbler". Seems to have some type of hook setting device built into the design, "the trigger quick plunger jerks the hook against the fish's mouth & hooks it" (quote). Any ideas?   That is some type of yo-yo. I kinda remember some that looked like that.
