The only thing pushing us towards central government is the laziness and disinterest of the general population.

How many people were actually involved in the American Revolution? Most historians will point to numbers indicating that fewer than a third of the American colonists got involved in the war effort directly, and many up and left for Canada.

Interview the average college student and they are clueless as to why they support the things they do -- drill down and find out many just want to fit in with their professors and friends.

    Wrong.

This goes far beyond 'central government'.

Guess you either didn't read anything because you 'already know all about it', or you skimmed the material and didn't absorb that which was the underlying subject, again, because 'you already got it all figured out'.

Could be you think the subject is bullschite and the issues are far simpler than that posed here. Either way, doesn't matter. It is still wrong.

This 'disinterest and laziness' is what 'allows' the collectivist minded people and collectivist organizations, to do that which they do, with virtual impunity.

We, as a people, have been methodically conditioned to believe that globalist-collectivist ethics are what America is supposed to be all about and that they are the proper role of government.

You touch on part of the cause in your description of college students and professors. The real issue is far more insidious than simple ignorance and disinterest. It has been brought about through systematic indoctrination that has been well-planned and going on for many decades.

You may want to do a bit-o-study on the subject, prior to going off on a tangent that circles right back to the globalist-collectivist paradigm we live in.

    Just a thought.
