What is the best release for a youth shooter
I have 2 girls that shot in a Saturday league last winter. They both shot fingers. This summer I thought i would introduce them to a release. What is the best release for a girl 8-10 yrs old? How much will it increase their draw length? 1 is shooting the new Fuse Freestyle the other a Browning Micro Midas 4.

The one miss conception about releases is that it changes draw lengths. In theory, it shouldn't change any draw length, if anything it will shorted the draw length. You should still be coming up to the same anchor points, same line of sight, same nose contact point.
I am not up on all the new releases, I am sure there are several wrist strap style release available that will work just fine. Although, I believe hand held release are better for shooting, stay away from them. Going from a fingers to a hand held will cause some flying release issues. [:D]0 -

Doesn't change the draw length just the position of the draw arm by a little, caliper style will put the arm farther back than a thumb style release.0
