70-80lbs pull is to heavy for me. 0 -
If your just getting into archery, thats a really heavy draw weight.
I'm not saying that you cant pull it, just saying 60-65 would be a better way to learn.
Its tough to shoot 50 arrows in one day with an 80lb draw.
I shoot 67lbs and it kills elk and deer just fine!0 -
Other than the 70-80#, is it a good deal? Should I buy for later down the road? Could I get my money back out of it?[?][:D] 0 -
Not sure what model that one is but not worth it IMO. To heavy a pull and to old a bow for $100. Just my .02
I bought 1 newer than the one your showing all set up with arrows, BH, sights, Rest, hard shell case for $150 and that has been a while ago. I've had 2 more bows since then.
And just to add a little humor, the bow is upside down in the pic [:D][;)]0 -
It sure is upside down[:D] I just want to have something cheap to see if I might be intereted in bow hunting. Thanks fellas[;)] 0 -

If thats the case then it's a good deal if you really want it. Starting cheap to see if you'll like it is a good idea, but I must warn you this archery stuff is addictive [:D] Not only will you like it, I believe you'll love it. [;)]
I've gone from $150 bow all set up ready to go, to somewhere over $1100 in this one. [^]0 -

Offer the guy $50, he knows its not worth the $100 and now you do too.
If he insists on $100, walk away and feel good about it.
Bows dont tend to hold their value for very long. Anything 5 years old or older isnt worth $100. They are making better, faster and quieter bows every year.
Keep looking, try to find and older Mathews solocam. They are nice bows and were way ahead of their time in design.
Good luck!!0 -
