I'm sure there are some, But none that I could name off hand, I'd look around wikipedia a little. One of the norwegian countrys requires its citizens to take their machine gun home with them, so I've heard.

only ones better than us are some of the african countries in war torn turmoil that sell full autos at bazaars and such.

as far as kyplumbers post, i think he meant scandanavian(sp) countries as norway is very restrictive on guns, not sure you can even own a handgun there(had a lady from norway in the store this winter and she had to have her friend take pictures of her holding various handguns. pretty amusing actually.

I think Switzerland mandates gun ownership [:D]

    It says in Wikipedia:

"Gun politics in Switzerland are unique in Europe. The personal weapon of militia personnel is kept at home as part of the military obligations. This, in addition to liberal gun laws and strong shooting traditions, has led to a very high gun count per capita. Switzerland has one of the highest gun ownership rates in the world. In recent times political opposition has expressed a desire for tighter gun regulations."

I had a job offer in Canada a few years ago. Bringing rifles and shotguns in wouldn't have been a problem (not the ones I had anyway), but I wouldn't have been able to bring hand guns. I was actually surprised how easy it was going to be to bring long guns.

Wound up not taking the job, so it was a non-issue.

I have worked with some nato forces from Sweden. The individuals that are in their "Home Guard" keep a state issued weapon in their homes. Not everyone has them.

Full auto perfectly legal, open carry no problem. Like that? Move to Iraq. Or Somalia. No BATF there. No background checks. No AWB either.

    Aren't you special.

Ihave a better suggestion. We gather all the jamesquinn types and send THEM to Iraq, or somewhere else...someplace where 'freedom' means whatever YOU want it to mean.

It is obvious that 'American freedom' means jacksnit to you..and your blood -brothers in the batf and fascist/socialist governments are what you love.

Hey there Highball, you've spent 14,000 posts complaining about the USA, so why don't you move somewhere that has what you want - small government, unlimited guns, no taxes, wide open capitalism? Some place like Somalia.

Yep, you can whine about the g'mint there forever, and nobody will care.

We pretty much had that here. Till people like you came along and snit all over it.
I expect I will hang around here and see if enough men finally wise up, re-gain their manhood, and bring those noble ideals back and control away from people like you...thank you kindly.

Or you could actually DO something. You know, run for public office, take advantage of our democratic system. Become part of the solution...naw, you're just a full time whiner crybaby. Maybe when you reach 28,000 anonymous posts with not one finger lifted someone will care...LOL!

Manhood? YOU? You're a regular John Hancock alright. What screen name do you think he would have hidden behind? Highball? Hamsterballs? LOLOLOL!!!!!
