how do i measure for draw length

The best way to get properly measured is to go to a pro shop and have them measure you. Have them help you to make sure your form is very good and then measure.

There is another way measuring from fingertip to fingertip with your arms outstretched, but this is unreliable and best to have the pro's do it.

Agreed. The tip to tip measure is only a rough idea. Go get measured.
