Submit the packet to the court? Maybe do what it takes to get the record corrected? Dude, You know what you have to do, so do it.

The 2nd Amendment Foundation is headquartered in Bellevue. If they cannot help you, I would think they could point you to an attorney who could.

I helped a friend's son through this a few years ago. It was a fairly long process, but it is really about the money.

'X' number of dollars makes you eligible to vote. '2X' dollars makes you eligible to vote and restores your 2nd Amendment Rights.

I thought back and remember the judge saying that my gun rights were revoke for 2 years.

    Jerry,

I am not familiar with any cases where the judge puts this kind of time limit on your loss of gun rights, upon a conviction. Probation?

Maybe there is a bit more to the story? A 4th degree assault is a misdemeanor, which has a maximum penalty of up to one year in jail. Which, in and of itself, does not disqualify you from owning firearms. By chance, were you convicted of "domestic violence" along with the 4th degree assault?

Yeah, I'd definitely consult with someone who perhaps might know more than "the gal at the desk."

sounds like it was a "domestic" and a PFA was issued. PFA are usually good for 2 years.
