Lures for salmon and trout, Kodiak Alaska

I will be working for some months this summer on Afognak Island in Alaska. I will be taking my fishing gear but I am only geared up for small-mouth, brook trout, that size fish. Can anyone recommend some lures they have had success with in the past? I do have some larger Mepps spinners for pike that may work, I am not ure.
