Black Bear Hunt
I'm planning a Black Bear hunt in norther Maine for 2010.
I have used my Kodiak 50# recurve and my Grissely 45# for years hunting deer and hog. However, this will be my 1st bear hunt. I would like to know if anyone has had success with either these bows or any lack of. Within 20 yds I am fairly consistant within a 6" circle at an indoor range and am confident using either for deer or hog. I would appreciate suggestions.

I have taken seven black bears with my bow and you will have no problems with what you have! Just practice and shoot straight!
Bears are soft animals if you stay out of their shoulders.
Happy hunting and good luck!0 -
Good luck to you. Make sure the broadheads are razor sharp. 0
