Auction #120003743 -- anyone able to give more info/detail to specifically identify this?

  It does look to be a conglamoration of parts. For example, the muzzle has a stud on the bottom for a bayonet, but then there is the bayonet catch sticking out of the upper barrel band. You should not need both. Best I can tell you is that it's more European than American.
