Winchester Model 94 30/30

I am looking to get some information on a previously owned Winchester model 94 30/30 that I'm looking to buy. I would like to know when it was made, value among other things. Here's the serial # if it'll help. Serial# - 4400727. If anyone has any kind of info. or can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

    I have a Winchester RifleModel 94 30-30 G9412 lever action Centerfire Carbine w/20" barrel. This rifle has never been fired and in mint condition and has the item tag still on it and I would like to know what it would be worth since when it was bought we paid $230 for it. I do have a serial number if needed since I do not know how old it is

    Hello Bruce...

    You apparently have a very modern Model 94, and as such, it will not be worth much more than $400. Post the serial number, and we can likely estimate the DOM, or you can contact Winchester at their 1-800 number and ask them.
