Marlin Mod 989-M2

I have A marlin Mod 989-M2 in 22 cal. it has A comemerative
medalion 1870 to 1970 in the stock. It looks like A little
M1 carbine. Dose anybody know anything about this gun'and
what it might be worth

  Just looked your rifle up, it's kind of confusing?
  Marlin made two very similar .22 rifles, "99-M1" and "989-M2", the only difference seems to be one had a tube magazine and the other was clip fed. Believe yours was the one with the clip?
  Like you said, they were set up to look like the M-1 Carbine.
  The 989-M2 was made between 1965 & 1978, with a total production of 110,000. Value on the standard model is given as between $75 & $150. They don't mention a commemorative, it might be worth a little more?

  Thanks for the help. Dose anybody know if any Marlin mod 60
  action clip will fit in this gun? or dose it have to be for
