History of a RARE Helwan Pistol?

I recently aquired a rare egyptian helwan 9mm pistol. I am familiar with the pistol and I found it rare for several reasons... For one,it has proof marks from Enland and is stamped "Appleton" and "England". The finish is also rare as it is original chrome barell and frame (It also has a chrome magazine) as though it was used for military presentation. It is in excellent unfired condition.
