I have one these in a 6" three barrel set, 10mm, .45acp, and 38 super. The quality and accuracy is first rate. Polygonal rifleing and superb machineing. The reason they faded away was high price, couldn't compete. They were available in 5" & 6" configuation. 0 -
djkost, please excuse me for stepping all over your question/post but I need to ask Rembrandt a questions and he may look back here again.Rembrandt - if you have an extra 6 inch .38 Super barrel for the Omega or know someone who does, I would be interested in it.Thanks:AdamsQuailHunteradamsqua@bellsouth.net[This message has been edited by AdamsQuailHunter (edited 10-29-2001).] 0 -
Sorry, I don't know of any extra barrels, I'm hanging onto mine. I've been trying to find additional ones for mine (.40SW, .357sig, and 9MM). I was told that Nygord Precision was trying to import these again from Stahl's. I sent them an email, but no response. I would be interested in any leads someone might have..... 0 -
I guess the gun came with 3 different slides and 3 different magazines, too, since each of those 3 calibers are vastly different in size, and won't even come close to working with the same breechface configuration,or feed from the same magazine? 0 -
Been out of town for a while, sorry I couldn't reply sooner. The 3 barrel sets all use the same slide, magazines are different for each caliber. The 38 super has a different spring and the barrel is not ported. .45 & 10mm use the same spring and have ported barrels. I was able to find a couple of web sites showing these are still available. www.peters-stahl.com www.m1911.org/mod_stah.htm 0
