M14 After the Bedding
I have just finished bedding my M14 and have now removed the receiver. (I must confess this was my first bedding job) I am now trying to dress up the material. I have Mr. Duff's and Mr. Mckee's books and the "Complete 30.cal M1/M14" book by the army. Neither book really addresses the issue(of touch up) except to use a file. I was wondering if there might be some hints for making the bedding a little more aesthetically pleasing? Using a Dremmel tool?
There are some areas such as the op-rod groove that I'm not really worried about, but areas where the rear part of the receiver and magazine well could use some dressing. Any help or hints out there?
