32/20 WCF
Does anyone know of a smokeless powder load that is safe to use in an older revolver? All I can find are rifle loads. They are listed as NOT TO BE USED IN HANDGUNS. Help.

Hodgdon shows handgun loads for bullets from 75 to 115 grains, cast and jacketed. Their next Annual Manual comes out next month, my 2009 edition shows plenty of loads. Online, too. 0 -
I'LL SUGGEST 'TRAIL BOSS', WORKS IN ANYTHING & YOU CANN'T OVERLOAD. 0 -
The Lyman Reloading Manual and Speer Reloading Manual have pistol loads. 0 -

Another vote for Trail Boss, it's the best thing since sliced bread and popcorn.

If you don't already have one, you might want to check out the Lee Factory Crimp die for your 32.20. Great unit, especially for the thin walled cases like the 32-20 and 44-40. 0
