SCOPES
I am in the market for a scope right meow. I am looking for a decent 16+ power scope for my browning a-bolt 308. I have been doing research and I think im leaning towards a Nikon.
Now my question is have anyone heard of this Mueller company? I just ran into them today and their prices are good but I don't want to buy Chinese crap. I would like decent optics and I am willing to spend just a little more for the Nikon, but still would like to consider the Mueller.
I actually have a Simmons scope on a 243. A lot of people don't like the Simmons but I have taken at least 5-8 deer over the years with just a Simmons and it hasn't let me down. Is the Mueller comparable to the Simmons or should I just spend my money and stick with the Nikon?
Thanks a lot!

I second the above posters.0 -
I have one of these scopes and it seem ok so far. Time will tell how well it will stand up to the recoil of my 22-250 but it seems ok for now 0 -

When purchasing a scope, never go cheap. Good optics are going to cost as much as your rifle, maybe more. If you really want extract the full potential of your gun, you must give it a fair chance and mount good optics, rings, and bases. 0 -

Don't forget to properly assemble those quality parts too. A part timer behind the counter that just slaps it all on in two minutes is likely not doing you any favors. Learn how to do it right yourself (it's not hard) or ask for/find someone who can do it right.0 -
That is pretty funny Mark LOL
I had a Bushnell elite 4200 on it that I had to send back to bushnell twice and it still wasnt right so a supposed friend of mine gave me that scope. Maby he isnt as good a frien as i thought LOL0 -
