400 WHAT [?] Is it still around [?] I thought it died a while back [:0] 0 -
I have a set of dies and a 1911 conversion barrel.
Just wondering if you can use full loads in standard 45 acp brass.
What research I have done was that most reloaders use +p 45 brass,45 super or 400 corbon because the case heads are beefed up.
Just wanted to get someone elses facts
I haves used all the above brass with no problems.[:)]0 -
Goneshooting...
First, thanks for letting me know that you're reloading the 400 CorBon...
Second, I'm continuing to reload the 400 CorBon... albeit a slow endeavor at the moment...
Since my posting back in May'09... 400 CorBon Thread I've continued my work and believe that the best recipe is gonna be in-between 12 grains and 13 grains BlueDot in reformed 45ACP brass pushing 155 grain JHP...
I'd love to hear about any successes that you've had and very interested in any recipes you've been using...
Thanks RT [^]0 -

I have been using power pistol and unique.
I have bought some 400 corbon brass which is a little stronger.
I been using regular 45 brass and +p for the hotter ones.[:p]0
