brass fired through machine gun
Just had a local machine gun shoot in my area and I gathered up several buckets of LC brass. Is the .223/5.56 brass that is fired through a machine gun reloadable for use in a semi-auto? Seems ive read/heard that the chambers are somewhat larger in machine guns. Am i imagining this?

Resize and load as normal. It may have a shorter life but should be OK to load. Some may have damaged rims from extraction and all probably will need trimmed before loading. 0 -

Just full length size it and take crimp out of primer pocket and load it. 0 -
The SAW brass I have used usually has dented necks too. If it does, take a dummy round(or a real one that you don't care about), and carefully insert the bullet into the empty cases mouth, and using the case the bullet is seated in, open the mouth back up. I have been able to get reasonable price brass this way. Usually it has to be trimmed quite a bit too. 0
