Carbide VS. Hardened Steel Sizing Dies

It's pretty easy to see the carbide ring on the die in this Lee set.
But, what about on a RCBS die?

Can the carbide ring be present but not easily seen?

David, PN 18508 is for a standard set of 41 mag dies. Every carbide die I have, you can see the ring or a transition between the dissimilar metals. I have the exact same set by PN for 41 mag you have in this pic and it is not a carbide set. Hope this helps. rmr 0
