.338 Federal

Justed picked up a nice little Ruger Hawkeye in .338 Federal. Got 40 rounds with it to start with, but will start reloading once I have some empties. Anybody have any pet loads I could maybe start working off of or insight to reloading this cartridge? Thanks,

  Personally, I would head over to the Hodgdon website and use their Reloading Center for reference. It has a couple of dozen loads with both 'Starting' and 'Maximum'.
  
  I'm using IMR-3031 with the Nosler 225 gr. Partition with good results. Ramshot TAC has shown signs of working good also.
