Loading the 6.5 x47mm lapua
I just had one built and need some help on "starting" handloads I plan to shoot the 129gr Hornady SST and the 140 gr Hornady interlock bullets They say the RL-15 and IMR 4350 are good powders ! I'd like some suggestions from known shooters who have expierenced this caliber with some "load data" to begin handloading , thanks

I would think that 4350 (any of them) would be too slow for the limited case cap. 0 -
RL-17 is the powder to use.... H-4350 is next in line... 0 -
Isn't there any one out there that loads this caliber ? What I need is a starting point with the types and amounts of powder per bullet size to get a safe start . I can get the VihtaVuor Oy power loads but would rather stay with the IMR and Hodgens 0 -
Seeing no one knows the rifle your shooting they will be hard pressed to give up any loading data for a unknown application.
Calling Hodgdon for the info your looking for is your best bet....0
