blue dot,mag primers,9mm carbine
hi,,,the book says minimum 6.0 grains to max of 7.4 grains of blue dot with a 115 grain jhp bullet and a small pistol primer,,,,having trouble finding small pistol primers but have 3k small pistol magnum primers,,,if i start at 5.5 grains and work up with magnum primers and take notice for signs of over-pressure,can this be done safely,,,all replys appreciated,,,thanks,,,j3081[?][?][?]

It looks like you are on the right track. It's always wise to back off some when changing primers or powder in your loads. 0 -
Like he said, just back off a couple grains from you load that you would usually use with a standard primer and work fromt there. I usually do about 6.4-6.6 grains of blue dot wiht a 115 grain fmj. 0
