Tumble lube. Lee liquid alox or melted johnson's paste wax (the floor wax)
For a lube sizer, you would have to wipe it off manually.0 -
Yes you can do this with no problem However it will take the purchase of either a used STAR lubersizer or the same machine made and sold under the MAGMA name. This unit is made to install the bullet into the top of the die and then pushing it through the die with the next bullet . If you size them nose down then the lube will just go into the grease grooves and leave the base and bevel spotless. NAZI BAY has them for sale most of the time. Feel free to email me from my profile. I have lubed, sized & loaded over 300,000 45acp 68 Bevel base bullets in the last 37 years. PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN. 0 -
I have found a fix for the problem, I put a .38 cal. gas check in the seating die, then install & lube the bullet. The gas check does not stick to the bullet, it stays in the sizeing die. I will try to have a machine shop make a seater plug that closely fits the bottom of the bullet later on which will do the same thing as the gas check.
Thanks for the help.
