judge load ?
I have been shooting a very effective load in my 4 inch judge for over 1 year. I use @32 cal steel ball bearings mixed with #8 shot. 4 ball and about 32 pellets per load. my logic is the steel ball are buffered by the wad and not hurting my barrel. Am I correct? thanks

You better hope so [;)] 0 -
Shoot a few, go and pick up the wads....any holes in the sides? If yes, sell the gun...if no, keep on keepin on... 0 -
Generally wads used with steel shot are considerably thicker than wads for lead shot. Those ball bearings are also probably considerably harder than steel shot. 0 -
Hardened steel balls, like bearings, have a bounce factor that won't quit. If you fire these into a blind alley of masonry, do it from around the corner[:D][}:)]. 0 -
thanks HandLoad for the logic. 0
