    there are military surplus auctions somewhere that sell it by the pallets.

    Do you happen to know when or where the military surplus auctions take place? I have been trying to "google" it but have been un sucessful.

    The DoD re-utilization and recovery section was the seller of brass IIRC. Call your congressman and ask the staff to help you find where the brass is sold. They, congressmen, should be good at something besides spending money by the trillion, maybe helping you would be a good start.

    I have seen it sell at Ft. Riley,Kansas ,but you would be looking at around 10,000 pounds in a lot.

    Didn't I just see a thread on here not too long ago that said the D.O.D was destroying all their brass , and that it had the panties of a few reloading Co.'s in a bunch .

    Yeah, you did see that (DOD to stop selling usable spent brass), but after we Zumbo'ed enough of our elected folks, it was quickly reversed.
