Cleaning reloading dies

I soak mine in purple power after disassembling. Simple green or any other good cleaner would work too. Then a quick scrubbing with a nylon test tube brush in the neck and old toothbrush in the die body. Rinse in HOT water. Blow dry with a hair dryer.

I use rubbing alcohol and Q-tips or a small nylon brush if needed. The alcohol evaporates quickly so you don't have to dry them.

non-chlorinated break cleaner. Spray it in generously, and the accumulated lube and dirt will run right out. Then a quick spray with some rem-oil and your back in business.

+1 on what JustC said, about as easy as it gets

I use regular gun cleaning products, like a patch or nylon brush with Hoppes #9.

Just about anything you would clean your guns with.

what about using bullet spray lube after cleaning isn't it supposed to evaporate and just leave an oil residue thats not supposed to contaminate powder

Chemtool B-12, Acetone or MEK; takes the gunk right out of them.

    Rubbing alcohol works well.
