I was in Cabela's (Lacey WA) yesterday, and they had a TON of "No Powder, No Primers" - Looks like prices will be rising for a while more, If any are to be had.

Prices rise fast and are very slow to fall. As long as the scare about our current POTUS, and his intentions continues the buying frenzy will keep going.

I was lucky to get my primer order processed before the current "shortage" and it was a big order. I always buy in 5,000 primer lots of each size to justify the shipping and HAZMAT and split the order with another reloader. At a meeting of out local gun club, a few reloaders were upset at the lack of components (primers especially); I suggested that we share as much as possible until the "shortage" is over. I sold several bricks of primers (for what I paid for them) and this will keep a bunch of shooters going for a long time. One of the guys made me a great deal on an 8lb can of 4064 that he didn't need... My point is: there is no shortage of anything, panic buying is kinking the supply line. If you have an excess of something, try helping someone who is out. Just my 2 cents worth.

A source within CCI reports that they have an order backlog of 90+ million #200 primers alone. As long as people keep buying all they can at any price, nothing is going to change. It's completely up to our "brother" shooters.

I agree with the sharing/ trading with fellow reloaders/shooters. I'm looking for a set of .243 dies to load for my neighbor who does not reload. I also gave away Rem Gun Club hulls to another club member, and sold 1000 .45 brass to another member who needed some. I also bought a bunch of .25 ACP ammo from a member who sold the gun, because I know I'll get a call for some. Helps everybody.

aap2 and Bill. Thats exactly what i was thinking. Especially to the guy that has 40,000 primers stocked up, would it really blow his stock to give out a few thousand? That may be the only way to beat the high prices until they fall. Thanks for the input guys.
