    RCrosby,

    According to Nosler's website:

The White-tip bullets are the Accubond in .270 and could weigh either 130 or 140 gr.

The Yellow-tips are the Ballistic Tips for 'hunting' available in 130, 140, 150 gr.

    Best.

.277 with yellow tips are Ballistic Tips. Nosler uses different colors for diferent calibers on B tips. All Accubonds are white tipped.

White tip 140gr Nosler Accubond, 59grs H4831SC, Win LRP, it's a newer version of Jack O'Connors 270 load. My model 70s will shoot one ragged hole at 100yds with this load.
    For what it's worth.

Thanks for the load advice. I'll back off it a bit and see where it goes. Have definately decided to pull the bullets and start over. One reason not being what I'd expected. Both bullets appear to be loaded with a carefully weighed/measured charge of 50 grains of IMR 4831, which is a bit on the low side. When I work out loads I go for accuracy and never max. velocity, but to load a premium hunting bullet like the accubond at less than standard velocity doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
