30-30 into 38-55

has any one tryed to make 38-55 brass out of 30-30 brass a old timer mentioned to me but hard to believe.

YES, VERY EASY TO DO (LOAD A LIVE .30/30 INTO A .38/55, AIM IN A SAFE DIRECTION, PUT TRIGGER). CASES ARE ABOUT 1/16" SHORTER BUT WORK OK.

Why bother--.38-55 brass is available?

You can make it out of 375 Winchester brass also...

38-55 cases are not hard to find. Why bother?
