YOU MAY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE .380" BULLET AND MOST CASINGS, THE LOADED ROUND MAY NOT CHAMBER. THE .38/55 WAS 'OVERBORED' TO ACCOMADATE BLACK POWDER FOULING. STARLINE IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THINER WALL CASINGS TO HELP THIS.

StarLine does have brass that works, Oregon Trail has .375 .377 and .379 240gr hard cast bullets that work in most 38-55s. Case lenth 2.085, OAL 2.510. This works in my 1893 Marlin rifle with 26" barrel. I load 33grs of H4895 with Win LRP primers.
    For what it's worth.

My 94's like the shorter .375Win. brass (2.018)and the .380 cast bullets (Good luck finding a reasonable source of .380 cast bullets). I agree with the H-4895 load. Mine also likes R-7 and IMR-3031...Oddly enough I get excellent groups with the Sierra 200gr JFP in .375 over 33gr. R-7...they chrono. at 2061fps.
