8mm mauser cases ( FNM) loadable?
I have 8mm mauser cases with a headstamp of " F N M" and what appears to be a date 73-5. looking inside the cases it appears to have both the berdan holes as well as the standard primer holes. Is this military brass loadable? Thank you.

I don't think you'll find the boxer type priming hole in the FNM brass. Besides, the primers would be different diameters. 0 -
the center 'hole' is acualy just a 'dimple' to form the berdan anvil for the primer 0 -
joes,
Just for the sake of discussion, here is a photograph of all three variations:
I haven't done any measuring, this is just a comparison photo.
FNM = Fabrica Nacional de Municoes e Armas Ligeiras

Even if it has a center hole, it probably still has a standard berdan anvil making it unreloadable, even if you can decap it. Plus the hole diameter is probably a little off from US standards. 0
