A darn good powder........ FYI

I have been shooting more and more pistol rounds of various calibers using Tite-Group. It very well could replace all the 231, Unique, Red Dot, Blue Dot and Bullseye in my powder storage.

This powder shoots clean, even when using low level, paper punching type loads. I have to shoot some more to be sure, but it seems every bit s accurate in my revolvers and pistols as the powers I've used for 30 years or more. When loading near max it burns even cleaner and pushes lead bullets as fast as I want them to go.

Price wise it is a great deal for the 4 pound can, $47.95, you can load a whole bunch of ammo at 4-7 grains each at prices like that.

Maybe some of this modern stuff ain't so bad after all.

  I agree. I just started using it this summer when I got my suppressor.
  
  I had been using Unique but last time I bought powered they were out of Unique. I picked up a pound of 231 and it seemed to run good too and a found a local deal on a 8lb jug. I figured now I am set for a while.
  
  So I get my suppressed upper and everyone that has used it says that it "sandblasts" the baffles. It is also very very dirty. I tried some Unique, Blue dot, and another finding Tightgroup to not only be the cleanest but uses a bit less powder.
  
  Neat thing if for my 115gr subsonic loads I get 2000rds per LB of TG [:D]
  
  Now I have to figure out what to do with 8lbs of 231.

  It is a good powder. I started using it about 3 years ago. I like it for 45 Colt.
