Is a case trimmer needed
I reload 45acp and I just started buying 223 items to start reloading that, Do I need a case trimmer for the 223. Also is there anything else that I will need that I dont have. I have a a lee turret press, scale, primer feeder, powder feeder, caliper on order, tumbler, dies for 223 and 45acp, 9mm will be next. Am I missing something?

I've never trimmed any of my acp brass, but having a trimmer for the .223 would be a good idea. You can start with a Lee hand trimmer which will set you back less than $10.00 and do as good a job as any trimmer made; just slower. For the time being I'll leave it to others to check your list. No glaring omissions come to mind, though.

I tried to google it and nothing comes up. is this it?

Yes that is it. You also need Lee's 223 case length gage or what ever they call it so you have a guide for trimming your brass. I was going to find it real fast for you at midway, but their server is too busy right now and I can't get anything other than the homepage to load. I like the idea and price of their system but it can be a pain to use. I had several times that a case would want to spin out of the lock stud. Had to get it so tight for it to stay in there that I had to use a pair of pliers to losen it up. It was a pain in the rear to do that all the time. The knurled rimes are not big enough to give you much space to hold onto to loosen it and remave the case. Not trying to tell you not to get it, just thought I'd share my experience. You will need some lube for resizing you 223's. I've only used Lee's lube, as it came with my kit, but I'm happy with it. I dilute it using water and rubbing alcohol, shake it up, then spray it onto my cases and wait a couple of minutes while it dries. 0 -

You could use at least 2 if not 3 good manuals too. 0
